Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham made headlines when they split, earlier this year, eight months after reuniting.

And the Kick-Ass actress appeared to open up about their relationship in a candid interview, hinting she was annoyed at herself for packing on the PDA with David and Victoria Beckham’s son, and making their romance so public.

Speaking to PorterEdit, the 21-year-old also confessed she was often jealous of her friends for being able to do certain things that she was prevented from doing, as a result of her fame.

‘The problem with me is that I’m fairly rebellious, in the sense that if people tell me not to do [something], I’m going to do it,’ she explained. ‘I was like, “Why can’t I kiss on the street and do all of the things that my friends are doing?”

‘And you can – you can do whatever you want – but then I’d come home and be mad that there’s a photo of me kissing on the street. And my brother would [say], “Chloë, you can’t be mad, because you did that! Yes, your friends are doing that, but you are not your friends”. I started to realise [I was] only hurting myself.’

While she didn’t mention the 19-year-old’s name, she also spoke about her relationship with the media, admitting she has been forced to ‘reconfigure’ her life to deal with her fame.

‘[It] is a bummer, but at the end of the day it’s a double-edged sword. If they’re not taking your
photo, they’re not watching your movies, and they’re not writing posts about you,’ she added.

‘So, you’re like, okay, I’d rather you want it, and I’ll just have to reconfigure my life a little bit.’

It was revealed Brooklyn and Chloe had called time on their on-off relationship back in April after the budding photographer was spotted kissing Lexi Wood during a trip to a tattoo shop.

The news may have come as a shock to fans, as the Bad Neighbours star had shared a loved-up photo of her former beau just two weeks before.

And, speaking about the pictures of her ex kissing the Playboy model, she revealed she found out of their fling through social media – after she was constantly tagged in posts about it.

‘I personally don’t want to see people posted all over my phone making out,’ she told the Sunday Times Style Magazine.

‘Break-ups are hard across the board, but when every verified account on Twitter posts something about me I get tagged.

‘And every major publication is verified. So anytime they post something about a certain relationship it pops up on my phone, which is how I find out about 90% of things.’

Chloe Grace Moretz has spoken about the impact of an ‘onslaught of horrific memes’based on her body had on her self-esteem.

The Little Mermaid star was papped with a couple of pizza boxes into a New York hotel in 2016, an image that was later manipulated.

While the 25-year-old was wearing a casual ensemble of black shorts and matching T-shirt, internet users removed the bottom half of her outfit, making it appear as though she had no torso.

Trolls then compared the altered image to a character that appeared on season 10 episode of Family Guy titled Amish Guy.

Peter Griffin’s great aunt is introduced in the programme and is nicknamed Legs Go All The Way Up Griffin, owing to her long legs.

The fictional character wears a short pink dress, giving the impression of a short torso, and has blonde hair.

Reflecting on the meme, the Carrie actor said she was ‘really affected’ by the ‘onslaught of horrific memes’ resulting from the manipulated picture, particularly the Family Guy meme.

She told Hunger Magazine: ‘Everyone was making fun of my body and I brought it up with someone and they were like, “Oh, shut the f**k up, it’s funny.” And I just remember sitting there and thinking, my body is being used as a joke and it’s something that I can’t change about who I am, and it is being posted all over Instagram.

‘It was something so benign as walking into a hotel with leftovers. And to this day, when I see that meme, it’s something very hard for me to overcome.’

Describing feeling ‘sad’, Chloe said the memes made her take the joy out of getting dressed up for the red carpet and made her ‘super self-conscious.’

She added: ‘I basically became a recluse. It was great because I got away from the photographers and I was able to be myself, and to have so many experiences that people didn’t photograph, but at the same time it made me severely anxious when I was photographed. My heart rate would rise and I would hyperventilate.’

Chloe will next appear in Prime Video series The Peripheral, based on William Gibson’s sci-fi novel of the same name.

The official synopsis reads: ‘The Peripheral centers on Flynne Fisher (Chloe), a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America.

Chloe Moretz has been pictured kissing a Playboy model, eight months after her split from Brooklyn Beckham.

The Suspiria actress’s romance with Brooklyn was confirmed to have ended when the 19-year-old was pictured kissing model Lexi Wood.

And now, Chloe seems to be playing Top Trumps, as she’s bagged her very own model in the form of Kate Harrison.

Chloe, 21, was seen passionately kissing Kate, 27, on a night out in Malibu.

The pair were pictured leaving Soho House after previously enjoying dinner at celeb sushi hotspot Nobu, and they appeared to be quite happy to pack on the PDA.

Chloe, dressed in a long black coat and heeled boots, was spotted kissing Kate on the lips, before sweetly giving her a peck on the neck.

Rather intimate for an al fresco smooch, but when you’re happy, you’re happy.

Kate, wearing a long red mac, jeans and white Chelsea boots, was pictured smiling away as she held Chloe’s hand, with the pair walking away with their arms around each other.

We’re definitely shipping this.

According to TMZ, the ladies are sharing a rental home together in Los Angeles, and a bit of digging on Kate’s Instagram shows that Chloe isn’t keeping the romance a secret.

On a recent selfie uploaded by Kate, Chloe commented that she was trying to adopt the side-eye her dog Ruby gives. We failed to see the resemblance.

And at a screening of her film The Miseducation of Cameron Post a week ago, Moretz appeared to be wearing the same red coat that Kate was rocking on their night out.

Kate is a successful model who has posed for a number of high-profile magazines, including a nude shoot for Treats!, steamy lesbian shoot for Playboy, and fashion spreads Mode and Marie Claire.

Chloe has never officially confirmed her LGBTQ+ identity, having only publicly dated men.

However, in an interview for the promotion of The Miseducation of Cameron Post, in which Chloe plays a queer character, she fought back against criticism of a ‘straight’ actress playing a gay character.

Speaking to the Independent, the Kick-Ass actress – who has two gay brothers, said: ‘I think what’s important is don’t assume anyone’s sexuality. I mean, across the board, don’t assume.

‘I think it comes down to the line that’s in the movie/ She says, “I don’t see myself as a homosexual, I don’t see myself as anything.” These are all societal pressures that we’re being labelled as. We’re all human, trying to be with the people that we fall in love with, and be the best person that we can be.

‘But don’t assume people’s sexualities. And don’t project your own issues onto them. Why don’t we let people be who they wanna be?’

Chloe and Brooklyn dated on and off from 2014 until 2018; Brooklyn is now rumoured to be dating model Hana Cross.

The show was hit by a protest before the runway started, by climate activist group Derniere Renovation, who sprayed the outside of the building with orange paint.

A handful of protestors have reportedly been arrested for the vandalism which was in response to the amount of CO2 emitted by billionaires.

On Instagram, Derniere Renovation shared pictures of themselves in handcuffs and a video of one protestor dragged away by security guards – one of whom was covered in orange paint.

Brooklyn Beckham has finally broken his silence after breaking up with Chloe Moretz.

The pair had been dating on and off for two years, however split earlier this year after the aspiring photographer was pictured hanging out with model Lexi Wood.

They have since been called out for cosying up to one another at a tattoo parlour in Hollywood just weeks after the break up.

Beckham has kept his head down throughout the past couple of weeks, but has finally returned to social media and hinted at his heartbreak by liking a picture on a fan’s Instagram page.

The post showed a picture of baby Brooklyn crying next to his mum Victoria at what looks to be at a football match.

This was shared alongside the caption: ‘Chloe’s fans are attacking Brooklyn Beckham.’

While neither Beckham or Moretz have publicly addressed their split, the 19-year-old has sent fans into meltdown by being papped kissing Lexi.

They have taken it upon themselves to call the Playboy star a ‘bitch’ and have told her to stay away from David Beckham’s son.

One said: ‘Bitch go to hell and stay away from Brooklyn.’

While another added: ‘I don’t like you with Brooklyn bitch.’

Chloe and Brooklyn met back in 2014, and started dating two years later.

They have previously split back in 2017 after confessing that the distance between them proved to be too much of a strain on their relationship.

However late last year the pair decided to give things another go and openly expressed their feelings for one another on social media.

The Kick-ass star told her follows just how much she loved Brooklyn in a sweet Instagram post for his birthday.

She wrote: ‘Never Stop Smiling, I Love You, Happy Birthday Brooklyn.’

Psychological thrillers lend themselves to fantasy and a hint of the ridiculous – but Greta takes that license and absolutely sprints with it.

The film, starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Isabelle Huppert, conned me into thinking it would be a slick thriller thanks to its stellar cast and trailer – but it’s actually a camp B-movie that would do a lot better if it embraced the genre wholeheartedly.

Greta opens with timid waitress Frances (Moretz), who lives with apparently very rich bestie Erica (Maika Monroe), finding a green handbag on the subway and, being the polite country girl she is, decides to bring the bag back to its owner.

The owner being Greta Hideg (Huppert), a French woman living alone after her daughter moved to Paris and her husband died. Taking pity on Greta, Frances makes friends with her and begins to spend time at her home – that is, until she discovers numerous identical green handbags in a cupboard.

Now, I love campness. I like ridiculous plot twists and overacting, and I like horrors and thrillers that can make me laugh. But Greta doesn’t lean into the campness entirely, and the two sides of the film become very jarring very quickly.

Huppert is great as the unhinged widow, and the moments where she stands outside Frances’ work for hours at a time are very entertaining. But the character of Frances gives Moretz nothing to work with, and I found myself barely rooting for her.

And then comes the ridiculousness. There’s a moment of gore that comes entirely out of the blue and looks like part of another film, while the ‘is this real or is it a dream?’ moments seem out of place.

I found myself wishing the disconnect between serious thriller and over-the-top B-movie was closed and the whole film flung into campness, because Isabelle Huppert’s take on Greta was a high point.

However, considering all the laughs in the screening I attended, perhaps I’d have enjoyed it better if I handed myself over to the madness from the get-go.

With a bottle of wine and a takeaway, Greta might be a lot more fun. But when pitched as a thriller, it’s just a bit too confused.

Brooklyn Beckham was recently spotted kissing model Lexi Wood – seemingly confirming his split from Chloe Grace Moretz.

But David Beckham’s son has raised more eyebrows after he was seen partying up a storm at Coachella, with another model, Meredith Mickelson.

The aspiring photographer was photographed spending time with Meredith, as they relaxed at the Californian festival together.

At one point the model shared a video of Brooklyn dancing away in the crowd on her Instagram page, telling her 1.5million followers: ‘Kid’s got moves’.

Brooklyn Beckham and his girlfriend Hana Cross were couple goals at London Fashion week this weekend as they showed up to watch his mum Victoria shine.

The adorable pair, who were first linked in December, rocked up hand-in-hand to spend some quality time with Brooklyn’s family at the wrap party thrown at Mark’s Club.

While the 19-year-old sported his trademark flat cap and braces, his model girlfriend looked stunning in an all-white trousers and blazer combo.

Meanwhile, fashionista Victoria looked dapper in a suit and shirt get-up.

And Posh has been living her best life, after partying with a Spice Girls drag queen tribute act – something we never knew we needed until right this second.

The designer had shown her latest designs in London earlier in the day, with her husband David Beckham and kids Brooklyn, 19, (with 21-year-old Hana), Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven, on the front row alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour – after launching her official YouTube channel.

All in a day’s work.

The 44-year-old works hard, she plays hard, and afterwards the former Spice Girl caught up with friends at a party thrown by Derek Blasberg and husband David, 43, in her honour following the Autumn/Winter showcase.

Meanwhile Victoria and Hana have clearly been on the same wavelength, sporting matching red outfits on Sunday morning.

They were majorly twinning – surely that’s a good sign!

Brooklyn looked smitten with Hana as they sat front row, with the aspiring photographer affectionately placing a hand on the model’s lap and smiling proudly as they posed for photos together.

It was no doubt a huge honour for Hana to sit front row at Victoria’s show as she’s the first of Brooklyn’s girlfriends to do so – he dated actress Chloe Grace Moretz on and off for several years but she never made an official appearance at any of Victoria’s runway shows.

Brooklyn Beckham looked mighty red faced as he was caught at a Spice Girls drag show with Chloe Grace Moretz, as they continued to celebrate her 21st birthday.

The 18-year-old treated his girlfriend to yet another celebration – after they both dressed up to the nines for her main birthday shindig last weekend – as they took in the sights and sounds of a hilarious drag show that featured queens gussied up as the Spice Girls.

Which wouldn’t seem so weird if Brooklyn’s mother, Victoria Beckham, wasn’t Posh Spice…

And the fact wasn’t lost on the budding photographer, who looked more than mortified as their first hit, Wannabe, kicked in over the PA system and the camera swung around to see him with his head in his hands.

He’d tagged his mother in the Instagram story, however it was a Ginger Spice impersonator who took to the stage in his video, giving off all sorts of Geri Horner (nee Halliwell) vibes in a union jack dress.

She twirled around the audience, as they clapped along, at Hamburger Mary’s Drag Show in West Hollywood.

Chloe seemed to be loving the pop star display, as she clapped and whooped along in another clip, enjoying a legal tipple for the first time since reaching US drinking age.

Clearly one of the rowdiest tables in the venue – and how could you not get into the spirit, right? – Brooklyn continued to post videos to his social media documenting the evening.

He finished off his series with one that sweetly said ‘Happy 21st babe’.

He seemed to be brushing off recent chatter about his potential relationship with Tallia Storm.

In a case of ‘he said/she said’ it was widely reported Tallia admitted the two dated.

However, in an Instagram live, Brooklyn dealt a heavy case of shade when he denied the two were ever an item.

And the singer wasn’t happy, telling MailOnline: ‘I couldn’t be more angry. You dump me once three years ago, and now you dump me again! Why is he bringing it back up again? It’s exhausting.’

Chloe Grace Moretz has been granted a permanent restraining order against a ‘stalker’ who broke into her house twice.

She’d been targeted in June by obsessed fan Justin Alexander Behr, 18, who was arrested twice in a day after allegedly jumping the gate of her LA home and knocking on the door.

The 22-year-old actress’ motion will last for three years, according to The Blast.

Chloe’s brother Brandon, who filed an initial temporary order against Justin, is said to have appeared in court on Friday to make sure the permanent order was granted.

Justin was called a consistent ‘trespasser’ at the family home, court documents claimed.

Brandon claimed that on June 30, Justin scaled the house’s gate and began ‘violently banging on the doors and windows of the residence to attempt to gain access to Chloe Moretz or her family’.

The Moretz family called police, who arrested Justin. However, less than 24 hours later, he returned to Chloe’s house and tried to get in again.

He was later picked up by police and arrested again, with his charges changing from misdemeanour trespassing, to felony stalking.

As a result, Brandon applied for a temporary protective order on his sister’s behalf preventing him from coming near her.

He reportedly made sure the TPO included Chloe as well as her brother Trevor and mum Teri, explaining that all three live together and felt ‘threatened’ by Justin.

This isn’t the first alleged stalker Chloe has been targeted by – she was forced to put another restraining order in place back in December 2017 after a fan kept following her and now ex-boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham.

Since her split with Brooklyn, Chloe has been connected to model Kate Harrison, having been spotted kissing each other on the beach.

Louis CK’s film I Love You Daddy was pulled from release after sexual misconduct allegations were made against the comedian.

And nine months on from the scandal, the movie’s star Chloe Moretz doesn’t think it should ever see light of day.

I Love You Daddy stars Chloe as Louis CK’s teenage daughter, who falls for a 68-year-old director, played by John Malkovich. The film features CK’s character using the N-word, and shows a character feigning masturbation while an actress is on speakerphone – and doesn’t stop the lewd act when a woman enters the office.

Ahead of the film’s planned release, CK was accused of masturbating in front of a number of women, allegations he admitted were true.

When asked whether she believes the film should be released eventually, Chloe, 21, told the New York Times: ‘No, I don’t think it should be. I think it should just kind of go away, honestly. I don’t think it’s time for them to have a voice right now.

‘Of course, it’s devastating to put time into a project and have it disappear. But at the same time, this movement is so powerful and so progressive that I’m just happy to be in communication with everyone and to see the big change in the face of the industry, which I think is very, very real.’

Chloe has been open with her support for the Time’s Up and #MeToo campaigns, and distanced herself from I Love You Daddy after the allegations against CK went public.

The Miseducation of Cameron Post actress said at the time: ‘I do not condone sexual misconduct and, in light of the allegations, will not be promoting the movie further.’

Louis CK was in the process of buying I Love You Daddy back from distributors The Orchard, sparking speculation he planned on releasing it on his website, when it leaked online back in December.

The 50-year-old comedian admitted, following a New York Times investigation that published the allegations, that accusations he masturbated either in front of or while on the phone to five women were true.

He said: ‘These stories are true. At the time, I said to myself that what I did was OK because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them.

‘The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly.

‘I have been remorseful of my actions. And I’ve tried to learn from them. And run from them. Now I’m aware of the extent of the impact of my actions. I learned yesterday the extent to which I left these women who admired me feeling badly about themselves and cautious around other men who would never have put them in that position.’

Brooklyn Beckham is pulling out all the stops when it comes to new girlfriend Hana Cross.

All the shiny, sparkling stops.

The budding photographer was spotted leaving high-end jewellery store XIV Karats in Beverly Hills with his new girl on Wednesday – and, luckily for the model, she didn’t come away empty-handed. Go on gal.

Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son could be seen walking in front dressed in a casual white tee and jeans, while Hana followed behind carrying a large shopping bag from the store.

Any guesses for what’s inside? If it’s not a diamond-encrusted emblem of his face we’ll kind of be disappointed.

However, Brooklyn’s extravagant attempts to woo his girl didn’t appear to have won her over entirely, as Hana emerged from the store looking a little glum.

The sighting comes days after Brooklyn and Hana made their relationship Instagram official (you know, it doesn’t count unless the whole world knows about it).

The 19-year-old shared an image of himself and Hana chucking peace signs to the camera as they posed on a sunny hilltop and captioned it with a simple love heart.

Hana shared a similar photo with her own followers and followed her boyfriend’s silent suit on the caption front.

However, the couple looked the picture of love’s young dream earlier this week as they were pictured getting up close and personal on a busy street in Beverly Hills.

But Chloe is taking the apparent diss in her stride – by posting pictures of herself looking fabulous in a high-fashion campaign.

Chloe’s fans piled in to praise her for looking all kinds of fire emoji in the shoe ads – but also inundated her comments feeds with insults about her rumoured ex.

While Chloe is yet to address her split from Brooklyn, she raised eyebrows by sharing a screenshot of her phone playing the Cardi B song Be Careful, which blasts a cheating lover.

There is no indication that Brooklyn cheated on Chloe in any way – although it looks like he has moved on already.

The budding photographer was pictured kissing model Lexi Wood in a Los Angeles tattoo parlour, several months after reuniting with on-off girlfriend Chloe.

Lexi, 20, is a Canadian model who has posed for magazines including Playboy and GQ.

Both Brooklyn and Chloe are still following each other on social media.

Brooklyn Beckham has stunned us all by apparently confirming he has split from Chloe Moretz by smooching a Playboy model in broad daylight.

As far as we all knew, the 19-year-old was still dating Kick-Ass actress Chloe and was head over heels in love.

However, that belief was dashed when Brooklyn was pictured kissing model Lexi Wood in Dr Woo’s tattoo parlour in Los Angeles.

So who is this new love interest?

Well, Lexi Wood is a 20-year-old model who has posed for magazines including GQ and Playboy.

Lexi was born in Canada in a town near Toronto, but left Canada aged 16 to move to Paris with her sister to pursue a career in modelling.

Chloe Grace Moretz’s alleged stalker has been hit with four trespassing charges.

The 22-year-old actress was targeted by an obsessed fan on 30 June and 1 July after 18-year-old Justin Alexander Behr was arrested twice in the space of 24 hours at her home in Los Angeles, California, when he allegedly jumped the front gate and knocked the door in the hope that he could meet her.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Chloe was awarded a temporary protective order against him.

However, now TMZ reports that he has been let off the hook with regards to stalking and now faces four counts of misdemeanour trespassing, two per each day he forced his way into the front of her family’s home.

The Greta star’s family are trying to get a permanent restraining order against the obsessed fan.

When he knocked the door of the property, the man was greeted by a member of her family, who ushered him away before calling the police.

He was arrested outside Chloe’s home as he was sat in his car waiting for her to return.

Despite spending the night in the cell, the man clearly hadn’t learnt his lesson as he allegedly went back to the If I Stay actress’ mansion as soon as he was released, hopped over the fence and knocked on the door again.

He was picked up by cops a few blocks away at 8:45pm on 1 July and held on a $150,000 (£119,000) bail – up a staggering amount from his $1,000 (£795) bail the first time.

The man was first arrested for misdemeanour trespassing, but after returning to Chloe’s house for a second time, his charges were put up to felony stalking.

However, law enforcement officers told gossip site TMZ that they didn’t believe a stalking charge was necessary.

Chloë Grace Moretz has revealed that she had an unhealthy relationship with food for years and never felt ‘fully satisfied’ after subjecting herself to a strict ‘calorie deficit’ diet.

Speaking in the March cover story for Shape magazine, the American actress explained that she now focuses on ‘conscious eating’ where she ‘eats what she wants’ and makes ‘smart’ food choices.

‘I grew up and began trusting in eating for my body and eating whole good foods,’ the 24-year-old admitted. ‘And if I know that I’m going to have a big dinner or a big lunch, I have a little less in either direction.

The Kick Ass actress, who began her film career aged seven, admitted that she thought about having a breast enhancement after she was given push-up bras to wear during filming for a project.

Speaking with the Sunday Times, Chloë, 21 said the experience brought out her insecurities at a young age.

‘Those little things were insidious,’ she admitted.

‘Even though you can brush them off, you still internalise them. They make you question yourself and think, “Well, maybe I am unhappy with the size of my breasts”.’

‘I’ve had to look at Hollywood my whole life,’ she continued. ‘The people I’ve been comparing myself to are people who are not real.’

But her experience as a child actress has led to her being more selective in choosing roles as an adult. She told the publication that she’s ‘a very strong woman’

‘I couldn’t just be a girlfriend,’ Chloë explained. ‘Oh my god. Literally, no way.’

This year in particular has been a learning curve for the actress. Aside from taking on new work project, she had to deal with a public break-up from Brooklyn Beckham in July.

While she told the Sunday Times that she wanted ‘nothing to be said…’ about the split, Chloe did throw some shade at pictures of the eldest Beckham son kissing his reported new girlfriend, Lexi Wood.

‘I’m not a big fan of PDAs in general,’ she explained. ‘I personally don’t want to see people posted all over my phone making out.’

Ouch.

Chloe Grace Moretz is a girl after our own heart.

A Hollywood movie studio boss reportedly told Chloe, 21, to wear a push-up bra while shooting a ‘huge’ film and her reaction was badass.

After a year of the #MeToo movement exposing misogyny and sexual misconduct in the movie industry, Chloe has now shared her experience with sexism from men in positions of power.

YouTuber Riyadh K spoke to Chloe while promoting her new movie, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, and asked about any ‘inappropriate’ encounters she may have had in her career so far.

The Equaliser actress stated: ‘It’d be unrealistic to say that I’ve never felt unsafe as a woman. For years – I became very aware of that when I was 14. I had to be very aware of my safety within meetings with adult men, because my brother and mother sat me down and talked to me.

‘I’m very blessed to have been incredibly insulated by working with my mother and brother and have them around 99% of the time. But that still doesn’t go without saying that I had multiple conversations that were incredibly inappropriate for a 15-year-old to be talking about or prefaced with.’

Referring to being discriminated against for her gender, Chloe said: ‘That’s one thing or sexualising me in certain ways where I’d be like, “I don’t think I should be doing that”. And asking me to do things in scenes and movies that was not okay.’

Without naming the man in question, Chloe went on to recall a particular experience where she was asked to wear a push-up bra.

The actress revealed: ‘I showed up to set on one movie – it was a very large movie I was doing – and we’d done all the screen tests and everything, set the looks. I showed up to the screen test for the first day and there was a push-up bra and two chicken cutlets. I was like, “Ah, where did this come from?” and they told me it was a note from the studio head, which was a man.’

When asked if she wore them, Chloe proudly stated: ‘No I told them to just totally eff off.’

And rightly so!

No doubt the comments about her cleavage hit a particular sore spot as Chloe recently revealed how working in the movie industry made her consider having a boob job during her teenage years.

Just when you thought Kelleth Cuthbert and her reign as Fiji Water Girl was never going to end, a fresh, watery contender has entered the ring.

At yesterday’s Independent Spirit Awards, one such so-far unnamed model donned a similarly-blue dress, held aloft a tray of sweet, sweet water and stepped into the background of many a celebrity’s photo.

When will the madness end?

Kelleth kicked off the 2019 meme race when she became known as Fiji Water Girl after she shimmied her way rather conspicuously into the background of the red carpet at last month’s Golden Globes.

Now, though – there is a new queen of H2O.

Seizing our attention from the likes of Richard Madden and co, Kelleth became an instant sensation.

However, after she sued Fiji Water and was then dramatically countersued by the bottled water company, it seemed they looked to reservoirs anew for their place at the Santa Monica Awards on Saturday.

Stars such as Dakota Johnson, Richard E Grant, Carey Mulligan, Glenn Close (and her dog) and Joaquin Phoenix were in the crosshairs of the Fiji Water Girl 2.0 as she got that tray and branding in the spotlight.

It appeared she wasn’t allowed on the red carpet and had to make do tracking down stars as they were photographed in the carpark heading into the event.

Desperate times calls for desperate measures, we suppose.

There was even a second one (and a third, we spotted) sent in as backup. This time a blonde model roamed around the bitumen hoping to grasp a photo behind a star, landing in a shot of Chloe Grace Moretz and Riley Keough.

Let Kelleth’s turn as OG Fiji Water Girl be a cautionary tale to the newbie, though, after the star tried to sue Fiji for using a picture of her in a cardboard cutout campaign, which she claimed was launched without her permission.

It was then reported that the company countersued the model for ‘biting the hand that feeds her’ by trying to claim half a million dollars.

In a statement shared with Metro.co.uk, Fiji Water said: ‘This lawsuit is frivolous and entirely without merit. After the Golden Globes social media moment, we negotiated a generous agreement with Ms. Cuthbert that she blatantly violated.

‘We are confident that we will prevail in Court.

‘Throughout our history, we have had a sterling reputation working with talent.’

When pressed for comment by Metro.co.uk, Kelleth’s lawyer, Kecia Reynolds, at Pillsbury said: ‘The complaint filed by Fiji Water today is an obvious publicity stunt to counter revelations of Fiji Water’s unlawful actions.

‘However, Kelleth will not be bullied by Fiji Water, the Wonderful Company, or its billionaire owners. To be clear, Fiji Water has not “feed” Kelleth. Fiji Water has never paid Kelleth and there was not an agreement, not an email agreement or fake document agreement.

‘Fiji Water created cardboard cutouts of Kelleth to advertise and market their product. Fiji Water profited from using Kelleth’s image without consent and she is legally entitled to damages and profits from the use of her image. Fiji Water’s complaint is meritless and Kelleth is confident she will prevail in court.’

Let’s see if they try this thing with another water girl at tonight’s Oscars…

Chloe Grace Moretz has been granted a restraining order against an 18-year-old who’d been arrested for breaking into her home.

The alleged stalker was arrested for breaking into her Los Angeles home twice within 24 hours last weekend in an attempt to meet her.

After being ushered away, he waited outside in his car, which resulted in the police being contacted on her.

On the next day, according to The Blast, the unnamed man jumped the front gate and ‘violently banged’ on her front door.

He was later picked up by police and arrested again, with his charges changing from misdemeanour trespassing, to felony stalking.

As a result, her brother Brandon applied for a temporary protective order on his sister’s behalf preventing him from coming near her.

Chloe is yet to publicly speak about the incident.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Chloe’s reps for further comment.

This isn’t the first stalker that has targeted the Kickass star – having to put another restraining order in place back in December 2017 after a fan kept following her and now ex-boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham.

Since her break-up with Beckham, Chloe has been connected to model Kate Harrison, having been spotted kissing each other on the beach.

Chloe Moretz hit up the same party as her ex Brooklyn Beckam’s current girlfriend Nicola Peltz on Thursday night and we can only IMAGINE the awkwardness.

The Kick Ass actress romanced Brooklyn on and off for four years until their split in April 2018, while Nicola’s been inseparable from the 22-year-old since they were first linked last October.

And the gals narrowly avoided a run-in when they both rocked up to the Birkenstock 1774 party in Los Angeles.

Did they hug it out? Run away? Compare notes on the eldest Beckham child?

We can only speculate – but one thing we know for sure is that the stars looked their very best on the night.

Chloe served us all sorts of ’70s glam in a green flared trouser suit which would look disgusting on us but is the height of sartorial excellence on her.

Actress Nicola, meanwhile, donned a black leather jacket and a fringed crop top.

Brooklyn, the source of everyone’s toe-curling awkwardness, wasn’t actually papped at the event which is surprising because he’s been inseparable from Nicola since they started dating.

The photographer recently posted a snap of himself kissing the 25-year-old actress on Instagram.

It isn’t the first racy picture Brooklyn has dropped on us, as he took a second to wish Nicola a happy birthday last month – with a selfie of them snuggling up, wearing just towels.

Get a room, you guys, jeez (not really, we love to see it).

They’ve been going from strength to strength since they started dating, with Nicole even joining the Beckhams for New Year’s Eve.

Chloe might be a bit peeved off with their social media action though – especially if people keep tagging her in the snaps.

She admitted back in 2018 – several months after they’d split – that it was tough for her to see photos of Brooklyn with other girls.

‘I personally don’t want to see people posted all over my phone making out,’ she told the Sunday Times Style Magazine.

‘Break-ups are hard across the board, but when every verified account on Twitter posts something about me I get tagged.

‘And every major publication is verified. So anytime they post something about a certain relationship it pops up on my phone, which is how I find out about 90 per cent of things.’

The Peripheral is the latest sci-fi drama to be gripping fans as they follow Chloë Grace Moretz’s character descending into an online game that puts her family in grave danger.

The Amazon Prime series, which landed on Friday, see Flynne Fisher (Chloë) and her brother Burton (Jack Reynor) earning some extra cash as avatars to pay for their mother’s medical bills.

During the challenging game, which is set in London, Flynne is tasked with breaking into a corporation known as the Research Institute to steal a valuable secret. 

But the mission goes terribly wrong, with Flynne realising what she has stolen from the shady organisation has made her a target as forces become intent on killing her and her family.

Made by the creators of Westworld, the tense drama is adapted from William Gibson’s novel of the same name and has been met with acclaim so far.

As well as Chloë, who made her name in Kick-Ass, and previously dated Brooklyn Beckham, the series stars Jack Reynor as her brother.

Fans will recognise the Irish actor from Transformers: Age of Extinction and Midsommer, which he starred in alongside Florence Pugh.

Gary Carr plays Wilf Netherton, who could be the key to unlocking the mystery and lives in London in the future.

The actor is known for playing main roles in Death in Paradise and The Deuce, as well as for being Jack Ross in Downton Abbey.

Also in the UK’s capital in 2099 is Aelita West, who is portrayed by Charlotte Riley.

Charlotte, who is married to Tom Hardy, was in ITV’s Wuthering Heights, Press and Peaky Blinders.

Meanwhile, Aelita and Wilf’s associates are played by JJ Feild, Julian Moore-Cook and Katie Leung.

JJ, who is Lev Zubov in The Peripheral, featured in Captain America: The First Avenger, while Ossian actor Julian Moore-Cook starred in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.

Harry Potter fans will remember Katie, who plays Ash, as the wizard’s first love interest.

Finally, T’Nia Miller is Cherise Nuland, having worked on Russell T Davies’ Years and Years and The Haunting of Bly Manor.

The Peripheral premiered on Amazon Prime Video today (Friday October, 21), with the first two episodes being made available.

From next week an episode will land every Friday until the final instalment on December 2.
